Tyson Fury has never been the type of boxer to hold his tongue in any circumstances, spitting out fighting talk like it’s going out of fashion.
There’s no hiding from the fact he dislikes Anthony Joshua, calling out the ‘bodybuilder’ on numerous occasions, appearing desperate to fight him, although he hasn’t had his wish just yet, with AJ not signing a contract to fight him.
After falling down the pecking order in terms of a title shot following losing three of his last four fights, AJ appeared to have a lifeline, with a very fair purse split and title shot, but Fury’s deadline passed and the contract was unsigned.
Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua next fight
The Gypsy King is looking like he will be fighting Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world tag, but it may not be the case if one is forced to vacate their title in order to see the best of the best fight it out.
On the other hand, AJ doesn’t have a fight lined up yet, but it sounds like a bout is being worked on, with a location already set for his return, something Eddie Hearn accidently let slip in a recent interview.
Despite the fight between Fury and Joshua getting further than ever recently, the pair have always had problems with one another. The Gypsy King once hilariously uploaded the most baffling meme to his Instagram story to ‘show the difference’ between himself and AJ.

He had a split image of himself and AJ, both topless showing off different physiques, with the photo of his rival captioned: “My breakfast consists of yams, eggs and dates. Followed by a big bowl of porridge, a protein shake, a glass of orange juice and a glass of honey, lemon and ginger.”
Then next to it, in typical Fury fashion, he claimed: “I remember one night I had 14 pints of Fosters & then sparred three top-ten heavyweights and battered them all.”
Now we don’t know what’s more worrying, the outlandish claim from the Gypsy King, or the fact he willingly drank Fosters of all beverages available. Either way, despite all the trash talking, it still feels hard to believe that Fury himself shared this on his social media.
