Tennis: World number one Novak Djokovic is a happy man these days as he shared a picture on his facebook page in which he can be seen getting a kiss on his cheek from his fiancée Jelena Ristic. It was not a usual share as he also announced their engagement with it.
Djokovic and Ristic are in a relationship for the last eight years but just few days they made it official. It has been heard that the Serbian tennis star proposed his girl friend in Monte Carlo on Monday and she accepted.
Djokovic also wrote this caption under the picture, “Getting used to introducing Jelena as my fiancé and future wife. So happy!” From the big smile on Djokovic’s face, it can be judged that he is feeling as the happiest man in the world these days.
Ristic has been a very good partner of the Serbian super star as we can see the concern on her face during his matches. Djokovic recently became just the ninth male player to remain world number one for 100 or more weeks.
However, his top ranking will be under threat from his main rival Rafael Nadal at the China Open in Beijing next week. The Serb had lost the US Open final to the Spaniard at the start of this month.
